All folding trailers have a type of lift systems. This system is designed to lift the roof of the trailer to a normal size. This can be done with cables, springs, gears or chains. Most folding trailer manufacturers do not make their lift systems in house but rather buy them from a supplier. So different manufactures may have the same type of system.
